The Bible often links wisdom with a proper relationship with
God. Proverbs 1:7 says, “The fear of the Lord is the beginning of knowledge,
but fools despise wisdom and instruction.” This “fear” is more about deep
respect and reverence for God.
Deuteronomy 6:6-7 - God instructs parents to teach their
children diligently: “These commandments that I give you today are to be on
your hearts. Impress them on your children. Talk about them when you sit at
home and when you walk along the road, when you lie down and when you get up.”
2 Timothy 2:15 - Paul advises Timothy to “do your best to
present yourself to God as one approved, a worker who does not need to be
ashamed and who correctly handles the word of truth.”
James 1:5 encourages asking God for wisdom: “If any of you
lacks wisdom, you should ask God, who gives generously to all without finding
fault, and it will be given to you.”
Proverbs 12:1 highlights the attitude needed for learning:
“Whoever loves discipline loves knowledge, but whoever hates correction is
stupid.” It suggests that humility and a willingness to be corrected are
crucial for growth.
Learning, wisdom, and a humble relationship with God are entwined
with living a righteous and fulfilling life.
May God Bless The Teachers!
